Itinerary

01

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, take some time to rest and recover from your journey. Later, you can explore the vibrant streets of Thamel, a popular tourist hub filled with shops, restaurants, and cultural sites. If time permits, you may visit nearby attractions such as Kathmandu Durbar Square or the sacred Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple). In the evening, enjoy a traditional Nepali welcome dinner while being briefed about your upcoming trek. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara

After an early breakfast, we embark on a scenic drive to Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside city known as the gateway to the Annapurna region. The journey takes approximately 6-7 hours by road, passing through lush green hills, terraced fields, and picturesque riverside villages. Along the way, you will get glimpses of snow-capped peaks and experience the changing landscapes of Nepal. Upon reaching Pokhara, check in at your hotel and take a relaxing stroll along Phewa Lake, enjoying the peaceful ambiance and stunning mountain reflections. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 03: Drive to Birethanti, Trek to Ulleri

A short 1.5-hour drive takes us to Birethanti, the starting point of our trek. After completing the trekking permits and registration, we begin our walk through charming villages, terraced farmlands, and dense forests. The trail gradually ascends, leading us to the steep stone steps of Ulleri, a famous uphill climb offering incredible views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli. This challenging yet rewarding trek provides a great introduction to the Himalayan trekking experience. Overnight stay in Ulleri.

Day 04: Trek to Ghorepani

Today’s trek takes us through rhododendron and oak forests, home to a variety of birds and wildlife. We pass through small settlements like Banthanti and Nangethanti, where we take short breaks to enjoy the mountain air. As we gain altitude, the landscape opens up, revealing breathtaking views of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges. By afternoon, we arrive at Ghorepani, a charming village located at an altitude of 2,874m, known for its panoramic Himalayan views. Overnight stay in Ghorepani.

Day 05: Trek to Poon Hill and then to Tadapani

We start the day with an early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210m), one of the best viewpoints in the Annapurna region. As the sun rises, the golden hues illuminate the peaks of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and Manaslu, creating a mesmerizing sight. After soaking in the views, we return to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue trekking towards Tadapani. The trail takes us through forests, ridges, and small streams, offering a mix of ascents and descents. Overnight stay in Tadapani.

Day 06: Trek to Chomrong

The trek begins with a descent through lush forests and farmlands, crossing several small streams and suspension bridges. As we approach Chomrong (2,170m), we pass through traditional Gurung villages, where you can witness the unique culture and lifestyle of the local people. Chomrong is the last major village before heading into the Annapurna Sanctuary and offers stunning views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain). Overnight stay in Chomrong.

Day 07: Trek to Himalaya

Leaving Chomrong, we descend to Chomrong Khola and then climb up to Sinuwa, a small settlement surrounded by dense forests. The trail continues through Bamboo and Dobhan, where we walk amidst a peaceful atmosphere with occasional glimpses of the towering peaks. As we approach Himalaya (2,920m), the vegetation becomes sparser, signaling our gradual approach to the high-altitude region. Overnight stay in Himalaya.

Day 08: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC)

Today is one of the most exciting days of the trek as we make our way to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m). The trail passes through Deurali and Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC, 3,700m) before opening up into the breathtaking Annapurna Sanctuary. As we reach ABC, we are surrounded by a 360-degree panorama of towering peaks, including Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre. The sense of achievement at reaching the base of one of the world’s highest mountains is truly unforgettable. Overnight stay at ABC.

Day 09: Trek to Bamboo

After witnessing a spectacular sunrise over the Annapurna range, we begin our descent towards Bamboo (2,310m). The downhill trek is much easier but requires careful footing on rocky trails. We retrace our steps through Himalaya, Dobhan, and Bamboo forests, with plenty of chances to appreciate the changing scenery as we lose altitude. Overnight stay in Bamboo.

Day 10: Trek to Jhinu Danda (Hot Springs)

We continue our descent towards Jhinu Danda (1,780m), a beautiful village famous for its natural hot springs. The trail passes through Chomrong, where we take a short break before heading down to Jhinu. After reaching the village, we take a short walk to the hot springs by the Modi River, where you can relax and soothe your tired muscles in the warm waters. Overnight stay in Jhinu Danda.

Day 11: Trek to Syauli Bazaar, Drive Back to Pokhara

The final trekking day takes us through terraced fields and scenic landscapes, descending towards Syauli Bazaar. This easy trail allows us to enjoy the last moments of our Himalayan adventure before taking a 2-hour drive back to Pokhara. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy a leisurely evening by Phewa Lake. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 12: Drive Back to Kathmandu

After breakfast, we take a scenic 6-7 hour drive back to Kathmandu. The journey offers another chance to admire the Nepali countryside, rivers, and hills. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you can spend the day shopping for souvenirs, exploring cultural sites, or simply relaxing before departure. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner with authentic Nepali cuisine. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 13: Departure from Kathmandu

After an unforgettable Annapurna Base Camp trek, it’s time to say goodbye to Nepal. Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) for your departure.
