The trek begins and ends in Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside city, and includes scenic drives or short flights to the starting point of the trek.
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After checking in, you can take a rest or explore the vibrant Thamel area, known for its shops, restaurants, and cultural ambiance. You will also receive a briefing about your upcoming trek. After breakfast, we embark on a 6-7 hour scenic drive to Pokhara, a picturesque lakeside city nestled at the foot of the Annapurna mountain range. The journey takes us through beautiful valleys, villages, and terraced fields, offering glimpses of the Himalayan peaks. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax. You can take a leisurely walk along Phewa Lake, with a stunning reflection of the mountains. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
Today, we begin our trek with a drive from Pokhara to Kande (1,600m), where the trek officially starts. From here, we trek to the charming Ghandruk village (1,940m), a beautiful Gurung village offering fantastic views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and Annapurna South. After a short break, we continue trekking to Poon Hill (3,210m), one of the most famous viewpoints in the region, offering a panoramic view of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. This is an unforgettable experience as you witness a stunning sunrise over the snow-capped peaks. Overnight stay at Ghandruk or a nearby lodge.
After an early morning start and a hearty breakfast, we begin our trek from Ghandruk to Tadapani (2,630m). The trail goes through lush forests of rhododendron and oak trees, passing several small villages along the way. The views of the Annapurna range continue to mesmerize us as we gain elevation. Upon arrival in Tadapani, we can relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. Overnight stay in Tadapani.
Today’s trek takes us from Tadapani to Ghorepani (2,874m). The trail ascends through forests, passing through small settlements and offering excellent views of Machhapuchhre and Annapurna South. Ghorepani is a popular stop for trekkers and offers incredible panoramic views of the Annapurna range. The village is also famous for its rhododendron forests. Overnight stay in Ghorepani.
In the early morning, we hike up to Poon Hill (3,210m) to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre ranges. After taking in the views, we return to Ghorepani for breakfast, and then descend to Tadapani and continue our trek back to Pokhara. The trek offers a mixture of descending trails through scenic landscapes, small villages, and rhododendron forests. Upon arrival in Pokhara, enjoy the relaxing ambiance by Phewa Lake. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu, taking in the beautiful scenery along the way. The 6-7 hour drive is filled with spectacular views of the Nepali countryside and rivers. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you can either relax or do some last-minute shopping in the bustling markets of Thamel. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
On the final day of your trip, you will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) for your departure flight. Take home lasting memories of your trekking adventure in the Annapurna region and the beautiful landscapes of Nepal.
